Cyberlink YouCam came with my HP Notebook. It does not work with AIM and I am very disappointed. Everything I have read says that it does, but it just does not. I believe it is a partial version and I am being asked to pay for a full version, but have no way to know if that will work with AIM messenger if I do that.

youCam ripoff
I bought a $3000 HP Touchsmart computer with an old V1.0 on it one week ago, My friend bought a laptop with the same software from HP. he has ver2.0 I am told i have to pay $20 to upgrade. why would a cheaper older computer come with v2.0 loaded, and my newer one require a $20 fee? thats the reason im not using youcam, feel kinda crappy about that..

Pretty Impressive
It's a lot of fun, I must have spent about 5 hours making up videos to send my friends. Only suggestion I have is that having an option like "export as 3gp" or "record as MMS" might be helpful.

Good software.
I tried it 2 times. The menu is easy to use. I have a quickcam zoom, but the trouble is, that if I wanna use an image (a bear or tiger) instead of my face, the messenger program crases, so there is a bug in it.
